official approval from the benefit-paying institution (NII, Ministry of Defense, etc.) per category
income documents for the period before AND after the deterioration (worsening-of-situation committee)
certificate from the other local authority that no discount is received there, if the applicant is not registered in Ashdod
power of attorney if applying for someone else
empty property: photos + city inspector visit; for retroactive requests, electricity and water consumption records

Dates: No calendar cut-off date published. Each request is judged for the current year only and no discount is given for past years; filing does not postpone payment; a granted discount is cancelled if the year balance is not paid by end of tax year.
Money: Senior (age-qualified): 25% up to 100 sqm (receives old-age/survivor/work-injury pension, no income supplement); 30% up to 100 sqm (income not above 100% of average wage, 150% for several seniors in one flat; women reaching 62 in 2022-2025 may be tested for 30%);
